Tianluokeng tulou cluster are invincible Hakka’s home. Hakka were a kind of Chinese Gypsies. In addition to the delicious cuisine (umami taste), this population has its own language, a large variety of martial arts and, above all, different architecture. In 2008 Unesco inscribed Tianluokeng tulou cluster as one of 46 Fujian Tulou World Heritage Sites. An example of these buildings is the Tianluokeng tulou cluster, literally the hole of snail. There are five standing next to each other Tulou (earthen building), of various shapes and sizes. They were erected for defensive purposes. Such a massive house on the circle, with three or more floors had iron gates, and under the roof of bullet holes. The interior is spacious courtyard with stairs leading to apartments.
